Get To Know The Wyoming Business Resource Locator Tool

by Maureen Johnson | Mar 1, 2023 | Biz Tips

The Wyoming Business Resource Locator tool, accessible at WyomingBusinessResources.org, is an interactive business resource tool that can be used as an informational reference for Wyoming entrepreneurs whether they’re already in business or are looking to start a business. All agencies or entities included in the Business Resource Locator are public programs aimed at assisting new or established entrepreneurs to grow or start their business. Resources are broken down by county for ease of navigation and relevance as well as by topic statewide.

Created in 2021 by the Wyoming Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC) and funded by the CARES Act Recovery Program, this tool has added huge value to ongoing business resource ecosystem mapping throughout the state. Wyoming is fortunate to have extensive business assistance resources available and having one singular location where all of those free resources are listed, helps both small business owners and our partner organizations navigate what is available and where.

In addition to a clear map of resources, you’ll find an events calendar that is updated weekly and includes events and training opportunities, for small businesses and economic development entities in the state. Events listed are submitted by business resources including agencies supported by federal and state funds, as well as municipal entities.

Explore the site even further and you’ll find a comprehensive collection of articles written by our Wyoming-based business resource organizations. You’ll find press releases and articles on topics ranging from the Wyoming Legislature to collaborative training efforts to tips on setting business goals for the new year.

Use the Wyoming Business Resource Locator tool to discover business assistance in your region, catch up on entrepreneurial news articles, and sign up for free training events from organizations across the state. Discover the resources Wyoming has to offer your small business today at WyomingBusinessResources.org!

If your organization provides resources for small business owners in Wyoming please connect with the Wyoming SBDC Network to be listed on the site. Please note that the business resources included on this webpage include agencies supported by federal and state funds, as well as municipal entities. This resource listing is not exhaustive and does not include private entities, for-profit services, or private nonprofits.
