Wyoming's Cybersecurity Competition for Small Businesses

Yes, we were approved for CLE and CPE credits in 2023.
Last year’s participants received up to 35 credits!

The 2023 Wyoming Cybersecurity Competition for Small Businesses will begin February 1, 2023.  Register now through May 15, 2023, but early registrants make more progress so don’t procrastinate!   
Judges reports are due on August 1st. 
Winners speak at the tentatively scheduled Wyoming and Northern Colorado Cybersecurity Conference on August 24 & 25 in fun Fort Collins!
All work can be completed virtually.

FIRST STEPS:

  1. Talk to someone who was in it last year from your community or call CyberWyoming at 307.314.2188.

  3. Return the form and your $100 entry fee to CyberWyoming, PO Box 2332, Laramie, WY 82073-2332. Questions? [email protected].

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED TO DO IF YOU DECIDE TO ENTER:

  1. Spend 2 hours initially with a Made Safe© Cybersecurity Business Counselor (CBC).
  2. Work on one or two cybersecurity issues a month, with your cyber team including employees, accountants, attorneys, insurance agents, banking reps, IT professionals, and don’t forget your Made Safe© CBC is there to help.
  3. Spend 30 minutes a month with your Made Safe© CBC.
  4. Review your work with the professionals on your cyber team.
  5. Prepare to celebrate when you have met your goals and write up the “how far I’ve come” report for the judges with your Made Safe© CBC!
  6. Show your customers that you care about their data privacy by proudly displaying the Made Safe in Wyoming© logo. (Work must be double checked by a CyberWyoming member.)
